If you want to have a resilient organization, you have got to have access to a toolset that can only be found in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially within startups. That’s why in 2022 we launched the CTT 1520 Let’s Talk Sessions, where we gather corporates, consultants, investors and startups in the same room and talk themes through.

In this years’ CTT 1520 Let’s Talk Sessions, that occurred October 3rd on the LACS’ Anjos facilities, the buzz was all about the crossroads between the generative AI breakthroughs and the startup ecosystem. And on the debate panel this year, we had an impressive line-up: the president of INESC and researcher of INESC-ID, Prof Arlindo Oliveira, Ricardo Pires Silva, Executive Director of Cloud Sales & Solutions of Microsoft, Pedro Martins, CEO of Singularity Digital Enterprise and Francisco Santos, Head of Generative AI CC at Digital Global Unit of EDP.

Academy, technology provider, technology integrator and corporate peer: everyone you need to handle the full scope of the theme. And that’s why no stone was unturned:  why generative AI´s sudden success, what’s next in terms challenges and lines of research, but also concerns in terms of security, productivity and data reliability.

After the panel, we had pitches from two AI startups that already work with CTT: Neuralshift and Automaised.

The event ended with an excellent afterhours sunset networking on the LACS rooftop, where it was possible to exchange contacts and learn more about the work developed by the various startups present.
