Get a proof of delivery

Not all delivery options have a proof of delivery. You can only get a proof of delivery in case you have used one of these options:

How to get a proof of delivery 

Registered mail 

Receive a proof of  delivery in paper 

If you added the proof of delivery additional service (advice of arrival) to the registered mail, you will receive a proof that your item was delivered at the destination address. This proof is signed by the person who receives the mail.  

Receive a proof of delivery by SMS or email  

If you added the SMS or email alert additional service, you will receive an SMS or an email stating where and when we delivered your mail. This service is only available in Portugal.

Easy mail 

Receive a proof of delivery in paper  

If you registered the Easy Mail and added the proof of delivery additional service (advice of arrival), you will receive a proof that your item was delivered at the destination address. This proof is signed by the person who receives the mail. 

Receive a proof of delivery by SMS or email  

If you registered the Easy Mail and added the SMS or email alert additional service, you will receive an SMS or an email stating where and when we delivered your mail. This service is only available in Portugal.

Express parcels 

If you sent an Express parcel you may have a proof of delivery with the following information: 

  • delivery date and time 
  • name and signature of the person who received the parcel. 

If your parcel was sent to Portugal or Spain 

Enter the expedition code in “Track or change delivery” or at the CTT App to get the proof of delivery. This proof of delivery is available immediately after the parcel is delivered. 

If your parcel was sent worldwide 

We will send you the proof of delivery by email, after the parcel is delivered. To request it, please dial 707 200 118 (Monday to Friday, from 8h00 to 22h00, and Saturdays, from 8h00 to 14h00).

Ordinary parcel 

If you added the proof of delivery additional service (advice of arrival) to the Ordinary parcel, you will receive a proof that your item was delivered at the destination address. This proof is signed by the person who receives the parcel. This service is only available for parcels shipped worldwide.

 You can get a proof of delivery by accessing the detailed information of the item in question and, when available, directly downloading the PDF document to your device.
